So, as I've been running I've been thinking and coming across some interesting things.
- I lived in the City of Atlanta from 1998 until 2000 and in that time I didn't see anything. I had an uninspiring latent lifestyle. I rarely walked anywhere. I never ran. I just sat around going to the same couple of restaurants, doing the same thing from day to day. What is really sad is that I had a job where I was home a lot and had a lot of free time on my hands, but never really did anything with it. What a waste!
- As I run, I think about all of the other people that don't see anything but the 1mile radius around where they live, and hope that one day they come to a similar realization before it's too late.
- There are a lot of thuggish people in the city and even where you think you are safe, you better keep an eye out. The are bad people with ill intent everywhere.
- The "N" in Colony Square was installed upside down. I wonder if this was intentional or accidental, and I wonder if they even know!

- The tunnel at the end of 3rd street, connecting Midtown with Georgia Tech, is closed. However, if you go down there you can find yourself a prostitute or ten.
- Tanyard Creek, otherwise called "Disease Creek" by me and Anna actually starts at a waste water treatment facility in Loring Heights, supporting our appropriate naming of it.

- The Beltline is going to be AWESOME when, and if it ever gets completed. A ton of people use this every day, and it affords some really cool views of the city. Also, it features a temporary art space, where can people can do their own installations at (what I believe) their own cost.
- In addition to the Beltline, Atlanta has a self-guided urban art tour using your smart phone. All you have to do is scan these QR codes and you can go from place to place learning about how your tax dollars are being spent. Check out this ball of people!
